Symposium: eliminating PFAS from drinking water

The event in Rastatt and Karlsruhe, Germany, will provide knowledge on how PFAS can be eliminated from drinking water and will include a tour of the water works at Rastatt where the technologies ZeroPM is working on will be showcased. Guests are invited to listen to presentations, discuss with experts, visit the water works as well as visit the German Water Centre. The event is aimed at a broad set of stakeholders, including, but not exclusive to those working with water remediation, policy makers, academics and water utilities.

May 26th – June 8th: Walk drinkable Berkel

From 26 May to 8 June, Drinkable Rivers is organising a walk along the Berkel. The Drinkable Rivers Foundation works towards a world with drinkable rivers through inspiring walks, events, research, education and mobilisation The Berkel is one of the most beautiful rivers in the Netherlands’ border region with Germany, part of the Rhine and IJssel river basin.through various action programmes.

Walk with Li An Phoa (founder of Drinkable Rivers) from Sunday May 26th to Saturday June 8th 2024 from its source in Billerbeck (Germany) to its mouth and confluence in the IJssel in Zutphen (Netherlands).

With the Berkel family; a family of Germans and Dutch, of farmers, citizens, businesses, administrators, schoolchildren, artists, fishermen, other animals, plants and trees, we seek dialogue and commonality during the walk.
Everyone in the Berkel Valley is invited to walk (part of) this spiritual route of about 165 kilometres.
